You can find lots of useful information in the Translator’s Toolkit to help you get started :toolbox: :hammer_and_wrench:

Additionally, you can only see tasks on your homepage if there are tasks available in your language pairs! So, if you cannot see any tasks then it simply means that there are no tasks currently available.

But don’t worry because we post new tasks all the time, so keep an eye out :eyes:

As @soke35 has said, you will also receive email notifications when there is a task available in your language pair!

Hello everyone,

I signed up a few days ago and my language pairs are English-French, French-English and Spanish-English. However I check every single day if there are tasks available for me (I have chosen to receive notifications daily) but every time I see that I’m not given any tasks. How to receive more tasks?

Before you start working on a task, you must first claim it! This lets other translators know that you are working on the task :+1:

Once you claim a task, you will be able to see the source text in the online translation tool, Memsource!

hello everyone I’m new to the platform , and I think some thing is wrong with the task finder it does not show any task even when I put it to any language .

Hi everyone,
I’m new here!
My language pairs are English - Italian and Spanish - Italian but there are no pairs available at the moment for me.
How often do you think they will be available?
I mean, could it be I have to wait months to find something available according to my language pairs?
Because I see here there are mostly translations required from a source language into mostly African languages

I’m new here too! When I am not logged in I can see lots of translation tasks displayed, but when I log in they all disappear. Is there a step of profile verification I should have done in order to be able to access them?

Hello !
I have a question, I have been registered here for almost a week now and I’m not getting any tasks on the main page, did I do anything wrong? or do I have to meet a certain requirement?
I see some of the comments mentioning a test but I am a little confused, would anyone answer my questions please?

If you didn’t find any tasks on your homepage, it simply means that there are no available tasks in your language pairs.

And If you’d like, you can sign up to receive daily task stream emails. You will receive an email when tasks are available in your language pairs. :envelope_with_arrow:

As far as I know the test to become a verified translator is no longer required and your verification will depend on several good reviews and feedback.
