Hi, as a Venezuelan I know what it means to live in a country in crisis. I was forced to leave my home to look for a better life in Australia. I also know how challenging language limitations can be for vulnerable people. I went through this process alone, and now I want to support those who, like me, are in vulnerable situations.

Hello, my name is JoĆ£o Lacerda. Iāve been doing freelance translations for some time now. I recently discovered TWB and Iām very happy with the opportunity to collaborate with this wonderful project, while also having the chance to learn more about the vast world of translation.
Thank you for offering this course. I have been translating for patients and health workers in the hospital where I work. Thatās not my actual job, I work in Audiology, but there seems to be a need and doctors sometimes canāt find translators. I enjoy translating and thatās why I joined TWB.
