Hi, I have some problems with the “completed” button. I am revsing some of documents and although i have confirmed all segments, I still can’t click the completed button. Is there any extra step for that?

Dear @nadine ,
Thank you for your help and for letting us know!
Before marking a task Complete, you should run the Phrase QA functionality and solve the issues flagged there.
Please let me know if that works
Best,
Giulia

Good morning,

I want to know the reason why I cannot claim a task. When I try to claim it, a message appears saying “you cannot claim this project”. All the tasks I try to claim are in spanish, and so far I’ve only been able to complete one translation. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Shariel

Hello Ambra,
I have just completed a task but I am not able to click on complete.
I wish to know how to solve that problem

Hello @douanlalorielle and thank you for your support.

To complete the process:

  1. Please run the QA.
  2. Address any flagged issues as needed.
  3. If any flagged errors are false positives, please mark them as “ignored.”
  4. Once all issues have been resolved or ignored, you will be able to mark your task as complete.

For guidance on running a QA in Phrase, please refer to the post below: How to run QA (Quality Assurance) checks in Phrase TMS Useful Features.

In case you applied the above and the issue still persists, please don’t hesitate to write in the dedicated thread in the TWB Community forum or directly to the Project Manager. You can find the link to the dedicated thread in the TWB Community in your confirmation email or in your “Claimed tasks” section on the TWB Platform. Check this video to see how to ask questions about a task.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

How can i Become a TWB Verified Translator?

Hello @ragasad1986

I hope you are doing well and thank you for reaching out to us.

I would like to mention that we have been gradually moving away from verification and we are no longer verifying our volunteers. Nowadays all translation tasks are available to all volunteers who have the language combination on their profile. I see that you have listed your language pairs on your profile and everything is in order so you will have access to tasks in your language pairs when they are available. I would recommend regularly checking the homepage for tasks.

Thank you for your continued support, we really appreciate it.

All the best,

Hello everyone! Happy to be here! Where can I find more information about becoming a verified translator ? Thanks in advance

Hello, everyone! I’m happy to be here with you. I have finished a task and it was my first one. Is there any feedback? How can I see it?

Hi @anamarinhotranslation,
congratulations on finishing your first task!

I checked your completed task and it seems like the translator revising it didn’t leave a review. We do encourage translators to leave reviews for their fellow translators, but it is optional and not everyone does so.

If you do receive a review, you can access it by finding the task in the “Claimed Task” section on your profile and clicking on “Task Reviews”.

Hope this helps. Have a lovely day! :sparkles:

Hello TWB Team,

It’s great being here. ‘Information is power’ as the saying goes. We are empowered here with all the information we need.

Thank you for all the efforts. We are grateful.

Hello TWB team!
I’m facing an error with the phrase TMS website. Could you please help me figure out the issue so I can submit my tasks on time? THANK YOU

Hi @t1999ku,
thank you for reaching out.
Please write in the thread dedicated to your project in the TWB Community forum, so that your Project Manager can help you. Be so kind as to include more information on the error you are facing, it will help the Project Manager figure out what the issue is, and help solve it faster.

For future reference, if you have issues and questions related to specific projects, I suggest writing in the dedicated thread in the TWB Community forum or directly to the Project Manager. You can find the link to the dedicated thread in the TWB Community in your confirmation email or in your “Claimed tasks” section on the TWB Platform. Check this video to see how to ask questions about a task.

Hope this helps. Thank you for your support!

Hello! I tried to take the task and it wrote that I claimed it but I don’t get any link and I didn’t click the “I claim to translate” icon, maybe there is a system error but I would like to know about it as the deadline will be over in 2 days. Thank you

Hi @annamerkurieva09 , thank you for your interest in the task!

I checked your profile and I see that currently you do not have any claimed tasks.

To claim a task, you first need to click on the “claim task” button, which will then take you to another page, where you can preview the original file for translation in its source language. If you are sure you want to work on that translation, you have to click “Yes, I promise I will translate/revise the file.” Now the task is yours! You’ll also receive an automated email to inform you that you claimed the task successfully.

After claiming the task, you’ll go to a tab that allows you to start your translation or revision by clicking on “Translate/revise using Phrase TMS ”. To learn more about finding and claiming tasks, I recommend you take a look at our Community Library.

If you have the same problem next time you try to claim a task, please inform us at translators@translatorswithoutborders.org and if possible, include screenshots documenting your issue, so that we can look into it.

I hope this helps.

Have a lovely day!
