Hello! We are excited to start with you the first Amharic&Tigrinya Language week.
Here’s what we can do together:
Participate in the Amharic and Tigrinya translation contests. If you speak both languages, you can participate in both. The three best translations will win a prize of 150 USD, 125 USD, and 100 USD respectively. All participants will receive a certificate. You have time until Monday 15th to submit your translation and be the winner.
After you submit your translation, you will receive an e-mail with a link to evaluate the translations of your fellow TWB translators. You need to evaluate 3 translations. Please be mindful of the different language variants when reviewing other translator’s submissions. For example, some people may speak Tigrinya from Ethiopia and others from Eritrea
