INEE French revision

Great to know Katy! Thank you so much for the work! So it will be hyperlinked in the tracking sheet? Because I don’t see it yet. I’m exited! Thank you so much all, very nice effort and work.
Have a great weekend,
Nathalie

Hi @nathalie.bienfait,

We haven’t discuss it with Sarah and Peter yet, however if that could be useful we could, along with the instructions on how to maintain it. Could you confirm if its validated and we can include in in Phrase? We understand that some elements will still need to be discussed, but they are a minority and we could update them later.

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

Hello Ambra Luna!
Sorry I think I went too fast, I thought the document was finalised. I wasn’t aware it wasn’t agreed that the document would be reviewed by INEE through Phrase. I will ask Peter and Sarah. So you still have an internal review process?

Thank you and sorry again,
Nathalie

Sorry @nathalie.bienfait , my misunderstanding. I thought you were referring to the termbase. Before finalizing the translation I’d like to have the TB finalized and implemented in Phrase, run a final QA and then hand it over to you in Phrase as usual for revision

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

You can use the Term base now, if we add correction I will let you know but it might take time, so if it’s ok use the term base as it is which is probably going to be the final version.

Oh wonderful, I’ll inform my colleague, thanks.

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

@Ambraluna @nathalie.bienfait

I started to work on the proofreading of the file following the glossary update and there’s already one point I’d like to clarify.
Under the acronym SEL (ASE in French), the suggested full translation of social and emotional learning is ‘apprentissage socio-émotionnel’ (partner provided terms), but under social and emotional learning (in full), the partner provided term is ‘apprentissage social et émotionnel’ (which is the one that should be used I think).

Please advise on the term that should be used in French as both ‘apprentissage socio-émotionnel’ and ‘apprentissage social et émotionnel’ appear in the TB as partner provided terms, one linked to the acronym, and the other to the term written in full.

Thank you in advance,
Katy

Hello Kathy,

Well actually both are ok as it means the same. We usually use “apprentissage socio-émotionnel” but sometimes we do write social et émotionnel. but you can use the first one.

Best,
Nathalie

Thank you Nathalie.

Best,
Katy

@Ambraluna

Dear Ambra Luna,

Once again, segment 1466 won’t confirm despite trying again and reloading. I had the same problem during the revision process.
No editing needed.

Best,
Katy

@LebrunConsultingServ done  Thanks for the patience.

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

@Ambraluna

Dear Ambra Luna,

Once again I need your help to confirm one segment: segment 2251, no editing needed.
It’s the only one left as I was able to confirm all the segments.
I am through updating the terms. I still have to proofread and run the QA.

Cheers,
Katy

Hi @LebrunConsultingServ ,

So sorry for the delay, it’s now fixed. Thanks for the update.

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

Hi @Ambraluna,

I completed the proofreading task.

Cheers,
Katy

Amazing, anything to flag to Nathalie? Otherwise, @nathalie.bienfait I’ll assign it to you right away.

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

Only segment 1466, in the repetition of this segment, the tags appear gray and not blue.

Cheers,
Katy

Checking that and assigning it.

Cheers,
Ambra Luna

Thank you so much!!!
