Dear all,
I need your help, please.
I have the following task to do:
Task name: GUIDELINE FOR PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF ABDUCTIONS
Language pair: English - UNITED KINGDOM (en - GB) to French - FRANCE (fr - FR) .
I have downloaded and opened Chrome (which is not the browser I normally use?. What should I do to find the task on the Kato Platform? Is a link need and if yes can someone send it to me. Thank you. Natalia.

Hi Natalia, I have moved your post to the FAQ section, as more translators can benefit from this information.

You can find the task in your claimed tasks on your dashboard. Then, you just have to click “Translate using Kato TM”.

Hi Kila, thank you for your interest in taking up a task. First you have to find an available task and claim it, you can learn how to do it in this video tutorial. There’s two more videos I recommend you have a look at, using Kato TM and submitting tasks. Let me know if you have any other question and I will be happy to help :slight_smile:

Hi Leslie, I don’t see any claimed task on your dashboard and all the ‘Localizing the OpenWHO e-learning platform’ tasks have been claimed by other translators. I have moved your post here so that you can have a look at the tips at the top of the section.

Feel free to search for other tasks in your language combination. Let me know if you have any questions or problems :slight_smile:

Hi,
I have never received any emails on available tasks in my language pairs, but when I come here to the website I see that other people had already claimed them. Is it possible that I miss something on my profile or during my registration? Even in the task filter I cannot find “italian” among the target languages.

Have you tried searching for tasks in your language pair? Watch this youtube video to know more :desktop_computer: (Filter and claim tasks in KP - YouTube)
Italian :it: is quite a popular language but you should be eligible for revision tasks as well, so have a look at them :wink:

I just had a look at your profile, and as you listed Fulah as your native language, I would recommend that you add the language pair English to Fulah in your profile :wink:

Hello there!
I claimed a task yesterday and I’m done with it. I watched a video of “how to submit a task” so I did exactly as what the video tells, but I couldn’t find the task I’ve translated in my “claimed tasks”. what should I do now?

Hi @Hind.Salah :slight_smile: are you referring to the task titled “Chunk 1 of Peach Almanac - Part 1”? I’ve just had a look and I can see this in your claimed tasks :star_struck: Make sure that the “Task Status” is set to “In Progress”.

Let me know if you still can’t see it :blush:
