hello,
I managed to copy the worlds donated, but how I can copy the rates?
Hello, can you please clarify which rates you are talking about?
Oh, thank you! In that case, I am afraid is not possible to add the review score in other platforms - you can maybe take a screenshot or just type the score breakdown?
Hello dear all,
I am a newcomer (about 3 months) and have been working on my profile for the last couple of weeks, some people’s profiles were most helpful for serving me as examples. Nevertheless, can’t make out where to put information about my volunteer translating experience, so many members have such sections, I seem not to. Or do I? Please help. Thanks in advance
For instance:
Hello and thanks a lot for the great question. You are right, the badge that automatically shows on ProZ is only the Workspace badge, because your Workspace profile is automatically connected with your ProZ profile. If you would like to add your Kato badge as well, please follow the info in this thread, that I am also pasting here for your convenience:
Go to your Kató Platform profile
Right-click on the badge image and click on “Copy Image Address”.
Log into your ProZ profile and paste that URL into the ‘bio’ field using the code <img src="..." width="286px" />
, (replacing … with the URL to the badge you copied).
This will copy the URL of the picture. This picture is not dynamic and you will have to repeat the procedure every now and then to keep your embedded badge up to date.
Hey @ambra thanks a lot I tried this HTML code but it hasn’t been working. I used to photo URL section from ProZ.com bio and now it’s working. I just advise that if someone does not get that they ought to use to Photo URL section from ProZ.com profile. I hope that will be helpful for someone in the future who come across this task.
Hello @Dona
Hope you are doing well!
I sent you the project Job: Localizing the OpenWHO online training platform
The revision is attached at Kató platfform and one via Memoq.
Thank you very much by opportunity.
I sent you this message in 22 May 2020 21:26 BRT (GMT-3)
Today I saw that this project is overdue.
I sent you again this message and the project is attached at platform.
Thank you so much!
Aline
Good morning, @Aline1
Have you checked if this task is still available on your task stream?
All you need to do is:
- Go to https://kato.translatorswb.org/
- Click on the ‘Claimed Tasks’ tab
- Look for this task
In case it is there, it means the status of the task is still ‘in progress’, and your project hasn’t been submitted, so you’ll need to submit it again.
Please let me know if you need any further help.
Thank you for bringing this to your PM’s attention, and for contributing to this project.
Have a great Saturday, Aline!
Hello @andfraz
Many thanks for your help.
The project is not there, but I sent a new email form my PM and the file is attached to the message.
Many thanks and have a great Saturday, Andrea!
Hi @casoliba , did you manage to figure out how to add the TWB info into the “Volunteer Translations” section (which I can’t seem to find) on Proz? I am new to this and would also love to add this to my profile. Thanks in advance!
Hi Anabel, I am looking using my profile and I can’t find it either but I can see it on other people’s profiles.
Dear @Anabel_Watson,
I reckon that it is unable to demonstrate from your ProZ.com profile at all (Because it connected through TWB Workspace). As far as I know, you merely able to add your TWB Badge from ProZ.com bio. Before I asked ProZ.com staff who replied like that. I hope it is fairly clear for you.
Happy New Year
Hi, funny story - I managed to embed my volunteer translations aka words translated for TwB into my Proz profile and I have no idea how that happened because all I did was the following:
- click edit Bio
- choose WYSIWYG editor
- choose “Code View </>”
- insert code
img src="..." width="286px" />
replacing … with the URL to the badge you copied, just like you already know
At first that code wouldn’t go away from my bio in profile view and then the separate section “Volunteer translations” magically appeared.
Now, when I try to edit that (the number of words I donated increased in the meantime), I literally have no idea where to click as the <img src"… code only ever inserts the image and doesn’t change the number in the “Volunteer translations” section.
I feel silly and am back at square one
Hi @Jasna, thanks for this very useful message
As you noticed, the picture of your word count is not dynamic so I am afraid you will have to repeat the procedure every now and then to keep your embedded badge up to date
I hope this helps, but let us know if you have any other questions
Hello Team, I would like to know why my Proz profile does not show the same number of words donated as on my Kato profile. Thanks!
Hi @LilianaCH,
thank you for reaching out. I’ve moved your message to this existing one. I’m also tagging our lovely @charlotte1 who might reply to you tomorrow.
I hope this helps.
Hi @LilianaCH
Unfortunately, the word badge on Proz isn’t dynamic, so you have to update it manually every now and then
You can do this by following the above steps!
Thanks @faretto5 for helping a fellow translator out
Hi, I’ve tried adding the code as image or code in the WYSIWYG editor and I get this message: " Any and tags will be removed when saved." and the Save button is not available. Please advise, thanks!
Hi @LilianaCH, I see you’ve managed to include the badge in your bio showing your current word count, wonderful!
In case you would like to make it smaller, when you insert the picture there should be size options for you to choose
