I am still waiting for the new and improved Translator Recognition Program, the current one is over 3 years old. I know of a translator that reached the 1,000,000-word mark (yes, six zeroes), but nothing new besides some congratulations on LinkedIn. I do believe a proper extra special recognition is deserved for such a person.

We know that the work done by our volunteers is amazing, which is why we are working on some new features for our Recognition Program, but we can’t promise a releasing date yet, since doing this for such a big community 
requires thorough planning.
More importantly, we would love to hear your suggestions, so please let us know that you’d like to see in the recognition program in the future 
.

Suggestions, I’ve got a few:
- Featuring the translators name, biography, and achievements on social media (if the translator agrees of course).
- Add a section in the TWB webpage that lists the exceptional translators, with a link to their profile and webpage.
- Maybe an interview with said translator? Can be written or a video.
- Cash, cause we all like it
not a huge a mount, something symbolic. - A puppy or a cat, sorry, what I meant was, give the translator access to a CATtool, maybe you can negotiate it with one of the companies that make them, and also give that company some exposure “we also care about helping out so we’re giving a 1-year paid version subscription of our CATtool to the translators that reach 1 million words”.
- Like with the previous item, the same could be done with ATA or any other association who wants to help as well.
If I think of more, I’ll be sure to tell you.
