I have tried to access and claim some projects that were not in progress, but a new tab keeps popping up, telling me that I can’t be part of it.
Can someone explain this to me?

Did you search the tasks as shown here? The only reason I can think of for this message to pop up is that the tasks are restricted to verified translators, but if it was the case, you shouldn’t be able to see them in the first place. 
Could you show me an example of a tasks you tried to access so I could check what the problem is?
mainly the problem is that the platform won’t let me log in to claim it, i can’t screenshot it:(
