Hi guys,
I only find guidance on claiming tasks after filtering tasks on the homepage.
I wonder how to claim tasks after clciking into the link of the email notification about some tasks.
These are the links I can click into but only access to some project overview and source document overview, but find no button to claim the task.

Hello @yuting,
Welcome to the community!
When you open the link to the page you have shared, you will see an orange button at the upper right corner saying “Claim Task”. When you click on it, it’ll take you to another page with multiple options, including “Download the files” and “Yes, I promise I will translate/revise this document”. If you decide to work on it, you will have to click on the second option I have mentioned. Otherwise, this means that you did not actually claim the task and it is still available for other translators.
However, if you don’t see the “Claim Task” button, this means that it has already been claimed. You can make sure of this by checking the task’s status; it should be in progress or perhaps complete in case the translator have already finished working on it.
Hope this makes sense! But please, don’t hesitate to ask if you still have any questions.
Regards,
@SalwaAlrifai
Thank you very much. This is very detailed explanation.
I see it now why I could not find the " claim task " button as the project is in progress status but not indicative of task already claimed on the upper banner of the webpage at that time.
Thanks again.
Thank you @yuting for bringing this up, and thank you @SalwaAlrifai for this detailed explanation! I’m sure this conversation will be useful to a lot of new translators in the future
