Hello from Gaza

Hi there. I’ve been a registered translator in TWB for approximately three years now, but I have been inactive for a long time now, because I live in Gaza and the war and its repercussions have been an obstacle in the way of me gaining stable access to the internet and electricity. However, now my living circumstances have relatively improved, and I was just wondering how I can help expanding TWB’s work in Gaza.

Do you guys have any idea what can I do to help and be a helpful agent for TWB in Gaza? I believe there is much to do because I live in Gaza and deal with the situation there firsthand. Please share with us your constructive contributions!

(Sorry if the category of the topic is not accurate, I really had no idea what to use other than this.)

Hi @shadialbadrasawi , thank you for reaching out to us. Your support and proactivity are highly valuable.

It’s great that you mention in your profile that you are in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, as this helps us know you speak the variant of Arabic common in Gaza.

Currently, the best way you can contribute to TWB’s work in Gaza is claiming tasks that are part of projects related to the situation in Gaza, and translating critical materials into Arabic. Every translation well done strengthens the humanitarian response.

Thank you for your willingness to help. Your skills and commitment are crucial to delivering humanitarian aid.
