I am a versatile professional with a solid academic background and a diverse career spanning several industrial sectors. I hold a degree in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis on Environmental Sciences, a Teaching Degree (Licentiate) in Chemistry, and postgraduate specializations in Production Management and Active Learning Methodologies. My academic foundation is further complemented by technical qualifications in Chemistry, IT, and Metal-Mechanics.

My professional journey covers a wide range of industries, including fertilizers, automotive parts, recycled paper, and composites. I have extensive experience working with resins, PU (polyurethane) paints, and FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer) products such as crossarms and poles. Currently, I work in Process Engineering within the electrical infrastructure sector, with deep knowledge of manufacturing processes like pultrusion, filament winding, and plastic injection for power transmission and distribution components.

Throughout my career, I have held leadership roles such as Production Supervisor and Laboratory Coordinator, overseeing chemical and physicochemical analysis, quality control, and the implementation of process improvements. I also coordinated the construction project of an industrial plant for organomineral and foliar fertilizers, plant substrates, and soil conditioners.

I am deeply committed to sustainable development, as evidenced by my capstone project on utilizing municipal solid waste as an alternative energy source. This project involved the construction of a bench-top biodigester and technical visits to major companies, providing me with a practical and deep understanding of environmental challenges. Furthermore, my experience in teaching and volunteering reflects my commitment to knowledge sharing and community contribution.

I am eager to contribute my technical expertise to Translators Without Borders, specifically focusing on technical, engineering, and environmental translations from English into Brazilian Portuguese.
