My name is Oumar Talla. I was born and raised in Senegal. I have been living in the U.S. for 18 years. I hold a B.A in English Language and Literature from Southern New Hampshire University (Summa Cum Laude). I’m a volunteer linguist (reviewer / translator / transcriber) for TED Translators. I have two Teaching French as a Foreign Language Certificates from Cavillam / Alliance française. I speak Pulaar (Fulani), Wolof, French, and English fluently, and I can read, write, and hold simple conversations in Spanish and Modern Standard Arabic (I’m actively learning the Egyptian dialect too). I love languages; I love helping people. So, I’m always excited when I have an opportunity that combines both.
