I am a fully qualified French to English translator specialised in human rights, humanitarian action, international peace and security and sustainable development as a result of decades spent working in the not-for-profit sector and more recently as a humanitarian aid worker and United Nations Peacekeeper in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

I also work in the nuclear power sector and provide on- and off-site consecutive interpreting, translation and language support services for nuclear safety reviews conducted by the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at nuclear power plants (NPP) operating in Europe

I have been a Member of the UK-based Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) since Dec 2017, a Chartered Linguist since Jun 2020, an Editorial Board Member of CIOL’s official journal, The Linguist, since Feb 2022 and a Verified Translator for Translators Without Borders (TWB) since Jun 2018.
