PPB2022
My critical priorities in translation work are accuracy, punctuality, and attentiveness to detail, ensuring that my work closely follows instructions of clientele, sounds and reads natural, and it’s free of misunderstandings.
I’m a proud member of Translators Without Borders (“TWB”) because it unites people from diverse backgrounds to work toward a common goal. This work is immensely satisfying, mainly when I see how every volunteer is helping make a difference.
I’m a citizen of Argentina, New Zealand, and the United States and a freelance translator with English-Spanish, Spanish-English as the central working language pair. I can also translate from Italian and Portuguese to Spanish. Although I’m not a certified translator, I have translated legal documents web content and worked on subtitle translations & editing. I am currently studying Te Reo Maori online at Te Wānanga O Raukawa and hoping to get a Certificate in Māori Protocol And Language For Use In The Home And Community by July 2022.
I work for a prestigious global insurance company as a Claims Technical & Compliance Analyst. Outside of work, I’m an adventurous traveler: I visited 14 countries, five continents and lived in 3 countries, Argentina, New Zealand, and the United States. My favorite words are diversity, equity, and inclusion.“You never stop” is the phrase I hear the most.
