I was born in a small town surrounded by picturesque landscapes at the foot of the Apuseni Mountains, where I spent my childhood. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Philology at the Faculty of Letters of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Afterwards, I earned a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists in London (UK). After working for some time in an international school – first as a teacher, then as a librarian – I devoted myself entirely to my career in translation. I am currently translating non-fiction works for Litera Publishing House, and I volunteer for several humanitarian and cultural organisations, including Translators Without Borders, Translating for Humanity, Distributed Proofreaders (Project Gutenberg) and LibriVox.
