Bashir Aliyu is a Bauchi-based translator who has a degree in Hausa language from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Guided by a passion to promote human rights, gender equality, and climate action, Bashir Aliyu has signed up for Translators without Borders in order to help bridge information gap among Hausa-speaking communities who have been directly or indirectly affected by conflicts in Nigeria and beyond.
