ترجمة المصادر و المراجع

السلام عليكم وعيد سعيد عليكم
سؤال بخصوص ترجمة مصادر الأبحاث والمراجع: هل تترك بلغة المصدر أم تترجم؟
مثال: effects on HIV, Dengue and Influenza ( Guastalegname, M et al 2020, Touret, F et al Antiviral Res 2020)
هل نترك المصدر كما هو أم يترجم
(م. جواستالينيامي وآخرون 2020، ف. توريه وآخرون - أبحاث مضادات الفيروسات 2020)

I guess it’s better to keep the resources the way they are, I mean without translation. However, you can ask here Arabic glossary and terminology discussion
Maybe you can find someone who gives you the right answer there. :smile:

If the research resources and references are proper nouns i.e. humans` names, cities…,they are kept as is : no translation required .
However,if they refer to terms ,they have to be translated .That is necessary to meet the scientific standards that depend on the correct and accurate terminology.

Hi Amro, yes I can confirm that references don’t need to be translated. However, just to doble check, you could ask (in English, please) in the threads corresponding to the projects you are working on. Here is the video tutorial to learn how to do it.
