Save the Children is looking for 2 English to French/French to English and 2 English to Spanish/Spanish to English simultaneous interpreters to support their Global Education Cluster team at a workshop in Geneva, Switzerland, for 3.5 hours per day, from Monday, February 17 to Friday, February 21, 2020.

The Global Education Cluster (GEC) is a humanitarian response mechanism for coordination of education responses in emergency contexts. It is co-led by UNICEF and Save the Children globally. For more information, please visit https://educationcluster.net/.

Interpreters will support participants at an exciting workshop in Geneva on the theme of “localization”, which is a process of empowerment of local actors in humanitarian response. They will work alongside UN and NGO professionals and be exposed to discussions on cutting-edge topics facing the humanitarian sector – that aim ultimately to ensure that more children in crisis settings get access to education.

If you would like to get involved or need more information, please contact kemal.alptaylan@savethechildren.org. To apply, please send your CV and cover letter in PDF format named as SURNAME_Name_CV-CL, with “Translator_GEC” reference in the subject line. Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
