How to register on Kató Platform?

Welcome to Translators without Borders (TWB). It’s easy to start translating with us. You just need to register on our online platform, Kató. This is where we post translation tasks.

It will only take a few minutes. Please follow the guide below.

  • Open Kató Platform and click on “★ Register”.

  • Enter your email address and a secure password, then click on “★ Register”.

  • Open the email you receive from TWB Kató and click on “Click here to finish registration”.

  • Click “Finish Registration” on the page that opens.

  • You will receive our welcome email. You can now sign into the Kató Platform and complete your profile. You will be asked to confirm that you are over 18 years old, accept the TWB Code of Conduct for Translators and the TWB Privacy Policy, and update your profile with your details, native language, language combinations, and areas of expertise.

  • Congratulations! You are now able to log in using your username and password and start using our translation environment, Kató! You will be able to pick up any available tasks that match your language pairs and qualifications. You can filter for available tasks in Kató Platform according to your working languages. Watch this tutorial to learn how to find available tasks and claim them.

  • Start translating and using your language skills to help people in need!

You can also create your Kató Platform account using one of the third-party account providers (Google, TWB Workspace).

I can’t log in!

If you are having problems with Google Authentication (the button does not display or you’re unable to log in), this is most likely because authentication is being attempted with another Google account that does not match the email address of your Kató Platform profile. The simplest solution is opening an incognito navigation window and see if you can log in with your account on Kató Platform.

If the above doesn’t work, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open your Google Account. You might need to sign in.
  2. Under “Sign-in & security,” choose Apps with account access and then Manage apps.
  3. Choose Trommons.org in the list of apps you want to remove.
  4. Choose Remove.
  5. Try logging in again, using the email you provided on your application.

Hello Stephen, can you please clear your cache and try again? Maybe the platform is trying to log you in with a different email address.

Hi Stephen,

Like Ambra said, please clear your cache and make sure you are logging in with the email that you provided to TWB when you first signed up. If you are still being redirected to a short form that asks you to read and accept our Code of Conduct, please do that as well before proceeding back to Kato Platform.
